Churches and Sacred Places

The Piave Valley is dotted with countless churches and sacred sites that date back to ancient times. Characteristic are the small frescoed churches featuring "Last Suppers with shrimp" dating from a period between the 13th and 15th centuries BC, which are kept open during certain periods of the year for visiting. Unmissable are the basilica sanctuaries of SS Vittore and Corona in Feltre and that of San Martino in Belluno, the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Borgo Valbelluna, a National Monument since 1880, and a walk near the Certosa di Vedana.
