Guide Mazarol

The Mazarol Cooperative, established in July 2002, brings together 27 members, graduates or diploma holders, who have been working for years in environmental education, hiking, management and animation of tourist facilities, promotion of local culture and enhancement of the territory of the Dolomites, Belluno, and Veneto with proposals for gentle, sustainable, and quality ecotourism.
16 Mazarol members hold the professional title of Regional Natural-Environmental Guide and 14 members have the title of Official Guide of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park (obtained in March 2002), an entity with which the Mazarol Soc. Coop. collaborates continuously on various projects of environmental education, cultural and tourist animation.
All the Guides working on behalf of the Mazarol Soc Coop are members of AIGAE, the Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides with the national title of Environmental Hiking Guides (Law 4-2013). Two Mazarol Guides hold the title of Mountain Bike Guides issued by AMIBIKE Italy, and are Nivological Observers AINEVA level 2 module A, a title that provides basic knowledge about snow and avalanche issues, essential for winter excursions with snowshoes.
For Environmental Education and Hiking services, the Mazarol Cooperative holds the quality mark of the Quality Card Circuit of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
Since September 2018, Mazarol Guides are also accredited with VENETO AGRICOLTURA for hiking and environmental education activities.
The Mazarol Cooperative, on behalf of the Municipality of Santa Giustina, manages and animates the historic and functioning MULINO DI SANTA LIBERA along the Water Path of the Veses stream in Santa Giustina.
