After the first 7km along the Piave river, completely flat, you will reach the hamlet of Cesana, where in the past centuries you could see a castle that, between the XI and XII centuries, was seat of the ancient “County of Cesana”. Continuing along the Piave river and crossing the main road, you will reach a challenging climb, inside the woods that lead to the village of Colderù. From here, take the path on your left which is characterized by a line of capitals painted by a local artist. At the beginning, the asphalt path is easy to ride but then it becomes technically challenging, due to the presence of some steps. (80 % dirt road, 5% single track, 15 % asphalt)
