Book Presentation

On Saturday, May 16, there will be a presentation of the book “Trapassato prossimo – The New Tales of Marshal Manassero“, at the Giovanni XXIII Center, with the author Vittorio Nichilo, professor, journalist, and writer, in conversation with Federico Bez.

What is a carabiniere from Veneto doing among the hills of Piedmont? Constable Alvise Zanon, with his marshal Filiberto Manassero and other colleagues like Linda Ghirardi, a former alpine soldier, investigates, with intuition and irony, a series of truly peculiar crimes: elderly people who kill other elderly people for things that happened years before. Adding “saor” to these tales are the many dialects and languages spoken by the characters.
