The UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites

On Sunday, May 11, a conference organized by Italia Nostra, Belluno section, will take place at the Ethnographic Museum Dolomites on the theme of the universal values of UNESCO Dolomites.

Specifically, the day will be organized as follows:

10:00 AM: Conference titled “The universal values of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. Knowing to actively inhabit the territory” featuring a presentation by geologist Emiliano Oddone and the Director of the Belluno Dolomites National Park Sonia Anelli.

11:30 AM: Free visit to the ancient rose garden of the museum.

12:45 PM: Lunch.

3:00 PM: Walk titled “Architectures and memories of the past” with Anacleto Boranga and Emiliano Oddone in Val Canzoi. The walk is 4 km long with an elevation gain of about 150 m. Meeting is scheduled at the Church of Sant’Eurasia-Ave. A participation fee of €8.00 is required for this activity and is free for children up to 12 years old.
