Agedo is an association of parents, relatives, and friends of LGBTQIA+ people that has been providing welcome, listening, and support to these individuals for over 30 years. It works in the social field to break down prejudices, develops awareness projects within institutions, participates in discussion tables with institutions and associations, promotes a culture that respects diversity, and values differences to overcome any discrimination.

The theme of gender identity in adolescence is of utmost interest to parents, educators, professionals, and volunteers who care for and look after young people. It is important that scientifically accurate and updated information is disseminated to the population in order to allow for constructive reflection. The focus is on the work of Dr. Graglia, who has recently been the protagonist of a substantial high-quality training organized by the U.O. Childhood and Adolescence Family and Consultories of ULSS 1 Dolomiti.

The broad perspective on the theme of gender incongruence proposed by Dr. Graglia spans various areas: personal, familial, social, educational, ethical; therefore, it is believed that the Author can offer the community a comprehensive, complex, and clarifying view that can serve as a starting point for personal reflections for everyone.
