Le LANCIA gruppo A e B nate in ABARTH 1980-1992
The Historical Registry Ducati Belluno, in collaboration with ASI – Italian Historic Automobile Club, Vintage Car Club and Gentleman Drivers Club Belluno, organizes a meeting dedicated to the history of the legendary Competition Lancias developed at Abarth between 1980 and 1992. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Muccin Hall of the Giovanni XXIII Center in Belluno, with free admission.
Guest of the evening will be Sergio Limone, engineer and key figure in one of the most successful seasons of Italian motorsport. Joining Abarth in 1972, Limone contributed to the development of cars that have become legendary such as the Lancia Rally 037, the Lancia Delta S4, and the Lancia Delta Group A, winner of six consecutive World Rally Championships. He later led significant sports projects also at Alfa Romeo, achieving success in DTM and Supertouring.
Through stories, images, and anecdotes, the audience will relive the behind-the-scenes of the design of these extraordinary automobiles, discovering the technical innovations and challenges that marked an unforgettable era of competition.
