Duo d’Arpe Anna Pasetti e Jessica Pettenà
Last Matinée of 2025, Sunday, May 25, at 11 a.m., still at Palazzo Crepadona in Belluno, with a concert dedicated to the harp.
The protagonists, from the Conservatorio Steffani in Castelfranco Veneto, are a duo of international and multi-awarded artists: Anna Pasetti and Jessica Pettenà, who will perform “The Harps of Versailles” for the Belluno audience, an anthology of music ranging from the 18th to the 19th century, recreating its evocative cultural atmospheres.
The program includes: Philipp Joseph Hinner, Duo op. 8 n. 1; Johann Baptist Krumpholtz, Duo op. 10; Jean-Baptiste Cardon, Duo n. 1; Martin-Pierre D’Alvimare Sonata op. 8 and François-Joseph Naderman, Duo en Fantaisie op. 78. The performers of the concert are Anna Pasetti and Jessica Pettenà.
Jessica Pettenà graduated in Harp and holds a degree in Musicology, awarded in over a dozen national and international music competitions, is the author of more than 300 publications related to the history of the harp and its repertoire. She has given lectures, courses, and master classes in Italy and abroad, and was the curator of the Victor Salvi Harp Museum in Piasco (CN).
At the same time, she has engaged in international concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician and has recorded 12 CDs with prestigious record labels, containing almost exclusively world premiere recordings of ancient and modern pieces.
She currently holds the harp chair at the Conservatorio di Castelfranco Veneto.
Jessica Pettenà, graduated in Harp and in Music Education, has been awarded in various music competitions and in 2018 she ranked first at the national MIUR competition for the teaching of harp in the musical high schools of Veneto.
For over twenty years, she has been involved in harp education, collaborating on projects with public and private institutions, and is currently employed at the Musical Lyceum of Conegliano. She performs concerts as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, and collaborates with various local orchestras.
The Matinée musical series is part of the 75th Season 2025 “Parallel Motions” of the Belluno Cultural Circle.
