The show tells the story of a forest and its inhabitants: cats, squirrels, foxes, and lions, engaged in a revolt against a selfish king who wants all the river’s water for himself.

In an imaginary world with cartoonish tones, the young performers bring to the stage the value of coexistence, solidarity, and the search for common solutions to shared problems.

Costumes, sets, dialogues, and music arise from a collective process. The show reflects the pedagogical line of Nova Cantica: a choral work, without absolute protagonists, where every voice is important.

On stage the Artinscena Laboratory, Canto Piccoli, Children’s Choir, and Youth Choir. Texts and direction by Grazia Capraro and Elisabetta Da Rold. Set design and costumes by Andrea Caldart.

At the piano Isa Carlin, instrumental group “Trio G.no” with Luca Agostini on bass, Orazio Osteo on piano, and Fabrizio Bridda on drums.
