Difficulty and Duration: MEDIUM/HIGH – about 6½ hours including stops A little-traveled and relatively challenging ring among the harsh spurs of the Schiara, not far from Belluno, where we test our fitness. We soon leave the path that leads to VII Alpini and climb through the woods with increasingly interesting views. Reaching Forcella Monpiana at 1600 meters, we are greeted by the descent into the even more hidden Val Medon, where the sense of discovery and isolation is felt even more intensely.
