How to Observe the Sun (Alain Corso)

The sequence of mornings dedicated to the observation of the Sun continues in the year of maximum solar activity, both of sunspots in white light and of prominences, filaments, the chromosphere, and flares in hydrogen light.

Additionally, there will be a conference dedicated to the subject, explaining how the Sun is studied today, both from Earth and from space.

If the sky is very clear, daytime observation of the Moon and the planets Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury will also be attempted.
