Stefano Dal Molin

Stefano Dal Molin

Why settle for a simple hike when you can glide through the gorges of a river during a river trekking afternoon, snowshoe on the slopes of the Dolomites, enjoy a valley view from your mountain bike, or peek over a ridge to see what lies beyond?

Stefano Dal Molin, born and raised in the cradle of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, can guide you in discovering a wonderful land, drawing on his expertise and deep historical, geological, and natural knowledge of the area.

In 2017, Stefano earned the AMM (Accompagnatore di Media Montagna) and IML (International Mountain Leader) titles, and in 2018 he became an official guide for the Vajont Dam, leading people to learn about the dam, its history, and the surrounding communities. In 2020, he became the exclusive guide for the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, gaining extensive knowledge of the more than 31,000 hectares of land.

In his life, Stefano has reached the tops of many peaks, whether climbing, using alpine touring skis, or in the summer. He has ascended multiple times to the crater of Italy’s highest volcano, climbed the French cliffs, skied on the glaciers of the Alps, forming his deep experience in leading people in complex conditions while ensuring their safety but, more importantly, fostering a love for the mountains as the fundamental sentiment he wishes to convey.

Stefano Dal Molin’s professionalism is not limited to excursions.

He is available to organize photography workshops if you wish to combine a love for the mountains with a passion for photography: meetings where you can learn specific photography techniques to capture the most beautiful mountain landscapes of the Dolomites.

If you want to explore the natural environment in an adventurous and fun way, he will accompany you on river trekking activities, which involve walking along watercourses, often crossing stretches of rivers and streams without the aid of artificial equipment, offering a unique perspective of the territory you want to visit.

Moreover, if you want to better understand the mountainous territory, you can immerse yourself in delicate moments during the excursions that will allow you to learn more about the surrounding environment to experience it more responsibly. Raising awareness among participants about geology, nature, and the protection and conservation of the natural environment is one of Stefano’s many goals. There will also be insights regarding the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, explaining its specific characteristics, flora and fauna, geological peculiarities, and its rich biodiversity. Additionally, detailed explanations will be provided on the recognition of the Dolomites as a UNESCO World Heritage site, highlighting the reasons why this area was included on the list and what this recognition means for land conservation.

Finally, he offers excursions to the sites of the Vajont disaster that allow for greater understanding of the incident, its causes, consequences, and the impact it had on the local community and the surrounding environment.

Stefano does not simply guide his hikers along mountain trails, but offers a wide range of educational and recreational activities that further enrich your mountain experience, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the territory.
