It’s really close to the cities, with an excellent exposure to the sun, it is a place able to combine the fun of the ski slopes with the silence and the withness of the great plains.
Ideal places to concentrate all disciplines ofthe winter sport with relaxing and airy landscapes.
The Mount Avena, which is in the entrance of the National Park of Dolomites Bellunesi , is placed in a panoramic position on the valley of Feltre and Belluno.
The ski runs reach 1.450 meters over the sea level and are always covered by snow : the ski tows comprise a comfortable chair lift and two ski lifts , that enable the users to have five different combination of ski slopes along 21kilometers. The ski slopes are homogeneus and not too demanding,suitable for all kind of skiers.The ideal place to access the ski runs is in the locality “LE BUSE” , located on the south-east side of the mountain, where you can find a wide parking, easily reachable from Passo Croce d’Aune, following the directions.
In addition to the 21 km of the ski slopes, there are woods and open spaces for downhill snowboarding lovers and very long trails for cross-country skiing fans,as well as wide woody plains where you can have snowshoes tours and walks.
