Palazzo Pagani Cesa

Palazzo Pagani Cesa

Baroque building from the 17th century, now home to the Chamber of Commerce of Belluno.

Building constructed in Baroque forms at the beginning of the 17th century, uniting several residential units.

The building intervention was commissioned by the Cesa family, which had its own altar in the nearby church of S. Stefano, entered the Council of Nobles in 1547, and became extinct in 1624, continuing in the branch of Pagani-Cesa. The 17th-century facade is adorned with several stone coats of arms, among which particularly striking due to its design and location above the central trifora is that of the Cesa family, characterized by a lamb and three ears of millet.

The building underwent a complete internal renovation in 1932, with the addition of new volumes towards the Ardo valley. It is currently the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Belluno. It is located on Via Roma, near Piazza Santo Stefano.
