Longarone Fiere

Longarone Fiere

The exhibition center of the Dolomites

Belluno is internationally known for being home to some of the most renowned eyewear manufacturers; but it is also the territory of the Dolomites, where tourism continues to play a significant role as a driver of the local economy. Within this socio-economic reality, the activities of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti serve as a promotional center and showcase for entrepreneurial initiatives: it began in 1959, when the first edition of the International Artisanal Ice Cream Show was held, and has since developed to include other economic sectors over the years: from furniture to agriculture and the forestry sector, from tourism and leisure activities to sports and agri-food, and then expanding into collecting, electronics, and computing, as well as ending with educational guidance.

Longarone Fiere Dolomiti today presents itself, through the themes it proposes, as a very functional meeting point for commercial interchange with the Dolomite area and northeastern Italy. In this area, it is one of the most active tools for promotion and economic collaboration, also with reference to neighboring Austria and Germany. The presence at trade shows of companies from these markets is indeed increasingly constant and numerous, especially with regard to operators in the ice cream, crafts, and forest management sectors.

On the fair authority’s website, the schedules of various trade shows are available for consultation, for information please refer to the site www.longaronefiere.it.
