Friday, February 13, will be held Trial for a Broken Drill, the performance of the 3rd Theater Season of the Piccolo Teatro G. Pierobon in Paiane.

The text that Kleist wrote in the very early years of the 19th century is a perfect comedy, where the interest is sustained by an impeccable plot and the description of lively, interesting, and intelligently comic events.
He outlines, with subtle wit and in a popular context, the profile of a judge who finds himself in the paradoxical situation of investigating a crime of which he himself is the culprit, representing the absurdity of a soul that no longer knows how to recognize an objective reality.

This comedy, through humor, gives substance to a complex narrative that, if we wish, adds a symbolic reading: within each of us lies a potentially criminal nature, and there will always be someone ready to ascend the judge’s bench to condemn what is, after all, a part of himself.
