Welcome to Beyond the Peaks, from January 9 to 18, 2026. The theme of the 29th edition is “Snow?”. A rich program of events awaits you!

On Sunday, January 11, at 10:00 AM, at Palazzo Bembo, there will be the meeting “Let’s talk about ticks. Perception and management of infection risk“.

Last year, 1,636 people from the province of Belluno participated in a study on local knowledge, ideas, and concerns about ticks. Now it is time to discuss the results together, with Deborah Nadal (researcher in medical anthropology at the University Ca’ Foscari Venice) and Giangiacomo Nicolini (infectious disease specialist and pediatrician).

Event organized in collaboration with the Department of Humanities at the University Ca’ Foscari and the Giovanni Angelini Foundation – Mountain Studies Center.
