Olimpiadi: le storie del grande schermo

1 August @ 0:00

5 Olympic rings, 5 films, 5 winter sports. With this spirit, the outdoor film festival “Olympics: the stories from the big screen” is organized by the Municipality of Belluno as part of the summer events of Restate in Città 2025.

For five weeks, stories inspired by real events focused on alpine skiing, bobsledding, ski jumping, hockey, and skating will come to life on the big screen.

The last film of the festival, but not least in importance, will be “Tonya,” which tells the true story of Tonya Harding, a talented American figure skater, and the controversial scandal that marked her career.

The film explores her difficult childhood, marked by an authoritarian and violent mother, and her troubled marriage to Jeff Gillooly, which will lead her to be involved in the attack on her rival, Nancy Kerrigan, before the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Free admission with mandatory reservation at 0039 0437 913323 or via email at prenotazionimuseo@comune.belluno.it.
