5 Olympic rings, 5 films, 5 winter sports. With this spirit, the outdoor cinema review “Olympics: the stories of the big screen” is born, organized by the Municipality of Belluno as part of the summer events of Restate in Città 2025.

For five weeks, stories inspired by real events focused on alpine skiing, bobsleigh, ski jumping, hockey, and skating will come to life on the big screen.

The film Miracle tells the story of the U.S. men’s ice hockey team, whose victory at the 1980 Winter Olympics against the favored Soviet team was dubbed the Miracle on Ice.

Directed by Gavin O’Connor and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Main cast: Kurt Russell, Patrick O’Brien Demsey, Michael Mantenuto, Noah Emmerich, Patricia Clarkson, Billy Schneider, Nathan West, Sean McCann, Kenneth Mitchell, Joe Hemsworth.
