Exhibition of paintings

The exhibition “Vajont – Stitching Together with Water” proposes an intense dialogue between two artists from different eras, Gino Fossali and Sara Casal, united by the desire to reinterpret and revisit, through art, the memory of the Vajont tragedy.

The displayed works guide the visitor on an emotional and visual journey that intertwines past and present: on one side, the dramatic expressionism of Fossali, a direct witness of the era, on the other, the contemporary and reflective gaze of Casal, who reworks the signs of memory with current sensibility.

The title “Stitching Together with Water” evokes the idea of an open wound, but also of a possibility for healing and reconnection with history, through the evocative power of images and the flow of creativity.
