Theatrical performance of the “Thursday Youth” series

On Thursday, March 20, at the Teatro Dino Buzzati, the theatrical performance The Queen’s Mirror will take place, produced by Teatro La Ribalta, as part of the “Giovedì giovani” theater series.

An exciting story that deconstructs and reconstructs one of the most famous fairy tales of all time, offering everyone, young and old, a completely new perspective on the beauty of diversity, a beauty that deeply moves. On stage is only the Queen, tired of always having to be “the fairest in the land,” and her Mirror, weary of always having to repeat “what others do,” seeking an escape. The Queen, devoid of her reflected image, must find a way to regain the trust of the Mirror. The text by Antonio Viganò “Bianca & Neve,” which has already been staged and translated into various languages, is here reinterpreted through the choreography of Eleonora Chiocchini: the Mirror and the Queen come alive in a dance of relationship, playful shades, sometimes quarrelsome, at times mysterious, coloring their dialogue that will become a body. Always accomplices, as only a mirror and the image it reflects can be.
