Le forme dell’acqua. Due storie liquide e una gassosa
Reading concert
On Saturday, March 22, the reading concert The Forms of Water. Two Liquid Stories and One Gaseous will take place at the Prefecture of Belluno.
The event is conceived by Massimiano Bucchi, professor of Science, Technology and Society at the University of Trento, and Arturo Stàlteri, pianist, composer and host of RAI Radio 3.
The show will explore the multiple meanings of water, between science and society, focusing on three significant historical moments: the classification of clouds by Luke Howard in 1802, the introduction of swimming in Europe by two Native Americans in 1844, and the contribution of marine biologist Rachel Carson in popularizing science about the sea.
To enrich the event, there will be piano performances by Arturo Stàlteri, featuring original arrangements of works by Haendel, Michael Nyman, Fabrizio De André, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno, Deep Purple, and Paul Simon.
Entry is free, with mandatory reservation at the number 3293828904. The community is invited to participate.
