Sunday, August 3 – WHERE THE CIVETTA IS REFLECTED: COLD CARLAKE with ELIA
A loop from Palafavera to Lake Coldai among woods and the ever-closer walls of Pelmo. We climb to Rifugio Sonino then, beyond the pass, the lake appears, nestled among the rocks at the foot of Civetta, with its emerald waters. The return is along a less-travelled path, with glimpses of Val di Zoldo. Packed lunch.

A journey in the realm of the Queen: we ascend the deep Val Ombretta, stopping at the homonymous malga, to continue to Rifugio Falier, at the foot of the dizzying south wall of Marmolada. A path among deep silences and legendary walls, where the mountain becomes myth and the “Fish” trail marks the boundary between earth and sky. Packed lunch.

A beautiful loop in high Val Cellina, in the quiet territory of the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, along the northern slope of Monte Resettum. We see the spectacular Landre Scur and the boulder with dinosaur footprints. An itinerary for lovers of less-travelled areas, which here offer great satisfaction and splendid views. Packed lunch.

A loop hike starting from Malga Livan, which leads to visit a unique biotope: Palù de Serla. A quiet and little-frequented path, immersed in woods and clearings. An environment rich in flora, fauna, and history at the foot of Monte Pena, surrounded by beautiful Dolomitic peaks like Pelmo, Civetta, and Antelao. Packed lunch.

A hike in the wild Val di Franzei until we reach Lake Giai, a mirror of chromatic contrast at the foot of the Cime d’Auta. Away from crowded paths, among traces of local regionalism and alpine silences, we live an intimate and little-frequented corner of the Dolomiti Agordine. Packed lunch.

Sunday, August 24 – TO RIFUGIO CAVA BUSCADA with IRENE
Among the less famous and well-known Dolomites, those in Friuli hide places of great beauty and interest. Inside the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, we will explore Val Zemola, just above the village of Erto, towards rif. Cava Buscada, where history, geology, and good cuisine blend to welcome us. Possibility to visit the disused quarry, rich in ammonite fossils and now turned into a Geo-Paleontological Park. Lunch in the hut (or packed).

An unforgettable sunset hike, from Passo Giau to Nuvolau, one of the most spectacular balconies of the Dolomites. We wait for the setting sun at the summit, with a packed dinner and eyes lost in the colors that change minute by minute. For the return in the dark, a headlamp is essential.

A hike in the quiet Val di Gotres, among centuries-old cirmoli and traces of the Great War. A little-travelled stretch leads us to discover a hidden valley, where it is not uncommon to encounter chamois, marmots, and eagles. Upon reaching Cason de Lerosa, the view opens onto a magnificent panorama of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Park. Return via Malga Ra Stua and the trail on the Boite. Packed lunch.

Sunday, August 31 – PANORAMA OF THE DOLOMITES FROM COL DI LANA with ELISA
Ascent to the top of Col di Lana, a mountain symbol of the First World War. We traverse paths laden with history to the summit, scarred by mines during the conflict and now crowned by a votive chapel. From the top, one of the widest panoramas of the Dolomites includes: Marmolada, Civetta, Sella, Tofane, and Lagazuoi in a 360-degree embrace. Packed lunch.
