Open Doors to Folklore in Valmorel

From August 1 to 3, Valmorel Square transforms into an authentic village. The Indian Village Festival brings dozens of workshops, music, dances, rituals, and storytelling from Native Americans. You absolutely can’t miss it!
A festival designed by the Indian Village Museum to tell the truth about traditions, myths, legends, customs, and habits of the native peoples of North America, capable of surpassing labels…
This is not a postcard reconstruction, but an authentic and original narrative!
With guests like Enzo De Caro and Antonio Onorato…
But above all, the presence of witnesses from today’s Indian communities: the award-winning dancer Jim Sawgrass, and Creek origin artisans Jane Boettner and Henry Mekseree!

The Indian Village Festival 2025 is the most eccentric and exotic folkloric event of the Valmorel summer.
Valmorel aims to be a declaration of love made with the heart: cultures can meet, recognize, and touch. And the whole community is involved and invites everyone to listen to and embrace this hymn of inclusivity and brotherhood.

AFTERNOON – Meetings and workshops with Native Americans
EVENING 9:00 PM – Event “Mitakuye Oyasin”: a moment of great spectacle where readings from “Everything is Connected” recited by Enzo De Caro intertwine with the traditional music of Native Americans reinterpreted by musician Antonio Onorato… Creating a unique and unforgettable performance that will completely captivate you!
