As part of the series “5 meetings for the 60th anniversary of ISBREC”, the Belluno Historical Institute of Resistance and Contemporary Age presents a meeting dedicated to the theme:
“Italy: a nation without borders. History and current events of the border between Italy and France”.

  1. Tuesday, June 10 – Enzo Barnabà
    The Path of Hope
    → History and current events of the Italy–France border.

  2. Friday, November 14 – Santo Peli
    Partisan War and Refusal of War
    → Resistance between armed struggle and pacifist choice.

  3. Friday, November 28 – Vincenzo D’Alberto
    Between the First and Second Republic
    → Political transition in republican Italy.

  4. Saturday, December 13 – Maurizio Reberschak
    State and Nation in Contemporary Italy
    → The role of the State in identity construction.

An opportunity to reflect on what “border” means today and how historical memory can offer tools to read the present and imagine a more just and inclusive future.
