From inherited landscapes to new territories: loss of places and environmental anxieties.

Professor Francesco Vallerani will speak, previously a lecturer in Cultural Geography at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, on the topic From Inherited Landscape to New Territories: Loss of Places and Environmental Anxieties.

Essentially, the aim is to reflect on the psychological discomfort experienced when witnessing the disappearance of landscapes we have always frequented due to questionable urban planning operations or driven by outright speculation. There are plenty of examples even in our Province.
