Orchestral concert

On Sunday, November 16, the San Martino Concert will take place, organized by Dolomiti Symphonia, at the Cathedral of Belluno.

The audience will be able to listen to the Requiem in C minor for choir and orchestra by Luigi Cherubini, performed along with the Polifonica Benedetto Marcello of Mestre-Venice, conducted by Maestro Alessandro Toffolo. Composed in 1816 and presented for the first time at the Basilica of Saint-Denis on January 21, 1817, Cherubini’s Requiem is considered one of the highest points of sacred music of the 19th century.
