Third concert of “July in the Village” 2025, XXXVI Edition of the Concerts in Villa and in the Courts, 72nd Season of the Bellunese Cultural Circle.

On the stage of the amphitheater of the Restaurant Al Borgo, Tribute to Fabrizio De André. The songs, the stories, interpreted by the Belluno band Cantina Malvasia, which includes Gianluca Nicolai vocals; Francesco Minella guitars, piano, arrangements, artistic direction; Gaia Savini flute, choirs; Alessandra Bertoni violin, choirs; Marino Dalpiaz viola, guitar; choirs, Stefano Caviola bass, choirs, and Nicola Dallo drums, percussion, choirs.

Cantina Malvasia was founded in the summer of 2010 from the meeting of seven musicians coming from different musical backgrounds.

The main goal is to reinterpret author and popular music, aiming to provide a pleasant and quality listening experience, regardless of whether performing in a pub, in a square, or in an auditorium, with particular attention to arrangement and the search for characteristic sounds.

Cantina Malvasia presents the show “For the Same Reason of the Journey,” entirely focused on the musical biography of Fabrizio De André, showcasing a significant repertoire from the career of the Genoese singer-songwriter, 25 years after his passing, with specially curated arrangements adapted to the group’s line-up, along with some anecdotes from his life as an artist.

The title “For the Same Reason of the Journey” is taken from the song “Khorakhanè” from De André’s last album Anime Salve.

Cantina Malvasia has performed over the years at: Auditorium San Giorgio in Mantova, Teatro Comunale Belluno, Sala Guarnieri Pedavena, Osteria dei Miracoli Valmorel, Feltre Serata in Rosa (Giro d’Italia), Sala Parrocchiale Santa Giustina, Villa Campana (BL), Pieve di Coriano (MN), Stanzone Salotto della Musica (BL), Bar Serenissima Domegge di Cadore, Palestra comunale Onigo di Pederobba (TV), Palaghiaccio Feltre, Verona, Colli Euganei, Padova.
