The traditional Mid-Lent festival returns to Zottier.

The traditional “brusa la vecia” returns with the reading of the will and food and drinks offered by the Zottier local committee!

“Brusa la Vecia” is a traditional event that takes place during the mid-Lent period. Following the reading of the “Testament of the Vecia“, there is the spectacular “bonfire” of the same, which recalls an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is indeed a true “rite of passage” from the old to the new, from the bad to the good season, which carries with it the intention to ward off all evil and to favor good.
