What will “the old woman” tell us this year? As always, she will have something for everyone, we will read her will, and the evening will be completed with the entertainment of Duo G&G, the music of the Filarmonica di Lentiai, and the extraordinary participation of the 5th-grade classes from “Domenico Savio” school and Antonio Solagna school.

“Burn the Old Woman” is a traditional event that takes place in the middle of Lent. After the reading of the “Will of the Old Woman“, follows the spectacular “bonfire” of her, which evokes an ancient custom of popular tradition. It is indeed a true “rite of passage” from old to new, from bad to good season, which carries the will to avert every malefice and to promote good.
