Library Project for a Day.
Initiative for children and teenagers aged 7 to 14 years.

What does a librarian do? How is a library organized? How do you find a book placed on the shelves? These and many other questions will find comprehensive answers thanks to the initiative “Librarian for a Day,” promoted by the Municipal Administration of Fonzaso through the Civic Library.

The project aimed at children and teenagers aged 7 to 14 aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance that libraries hold today for the development of communities: a place dedicated to culture, socialization, and personal growth.

The initiative includes a series of four meetings with a maximum of 3 participants per time slot (first shift from 10:00 to 10:30 – second shift: from 10:30 to 11:00) which will take place at the Civic Library on the following dates:

Saturday, September 27 2025
Saturday, October 4 2025
Saturday, October 11 2025
Saturday, October 25 2025

The teenagers will be the stars of a fun and stimulating journey that will allow them to stand behind the counter, helping the Librarian with lending to users, shelving books, searching for requested books, stamping, and labeling new literary works. At the end of the experience, a certificate will be issued as a memento of the enjoyable day.

To allow maximum participation in the initiative, the project will be presented to the citizens on Saturday, September 20 at 10:30 at the Civic Library.
