Theatrical show
On Saturday, May 9, the show Bestiary of Water by Marco Paolini will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati, as part of the event Belluno Miraggi IX by SlowMachine.
Water Bestiary explores the often invisible role of hydraulic works that have shaped the Italian landscape over the centuries through rivers, canals, land reclamation, and water networks. It narrates how these interventions have influenced agricultural, urban, and social life, revealing the deep connection between water management and ecosystem balance. In a context marked by climate change, the project highlights the strategic value of watersheds and water resources. Through biological and human stories, it shows how conflicts and agreements around water have shaped the territory.
SlowMachine collaborates on the three-year project Atlas of the Shores, which is the foundation for this show, a play by Marco Paolini written with Giulio Boccaletti, with contributions to the dramaturgy from Marta Dalla Via, Diego Dalla Via, Michela Signori, with Marco Paolini, and directed by Patrizia Laquidara, directed by Fratelli Dalla Via, with assistance from Teresa Vila.
Tickets available online: Viva Ticket.
