Show of the 3rd Theater Season

On Friday, March 20, Ben Hur will take place, a performance of the 3rd Theatrical Season of the Piccolo Teatro G. Pierobon in Paiane.

Sergio is a broke middle-aged man, an ex-successful stuntman, forced to work as a centurion in front of the Arena to make ends meet. He poses for the customary photos with tourists, but the competition is fierce, and business is starting to dwindle. Meanwhile, Maria, his separated sister with whom he shares the rent, employed in an erotic chat line, loses her job. A life destined for a slow, relentless decline.

The arrival of Milan, a Belarusian illegal immigrant with a pronounced entrepreneurial instinct, suddenly revitalizes the precarious household economy and gives new momentum to the struggling couple. At least that’s how it seems… A comedy that, although very entertaining, grapples with the pressing issue of immigration, featuring a surprising ending.
