Belluno 1925
On the occasion of “The Night of the Archives”, the State Archive of Belluno offers a special opening titled “Between Documents and Notes”. The event includes guided tours of the architectural complex of Santa Maria dei Battuti (church, chapter house, and garden), with the opportunity to also explore the documentary exhibition “30 Years of Exhibitions at the State Archive of Belluno”.

A unique opportunity to discover the historical-documentary heritage of the city, enriched by evocative live musical performances.
As part of the event “Sunday of Paper” proposed each year by the General Directorate of Archives of the Ministry of Culture, the State Archive of Belluno opens its doors with the event “Belluno 1925 – The city and the territory of a century ago in archival documents“.
The exhibition aims to represent the image of the city and the territory from a century ago, in all aspects documented by the materials preserved by the State Archive and the historical archive of the Municipality of Belluno: politics, economy, social issues, with a particular focus on the changes that affected the urban fabric of the capital city between 1924 and 1926.
It will be possible to visit the architectural complex of S.Maria dei Battuti (church, chapter hall, and garden), home of the State Archive. Visits will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for groups of a maximum of 25 people each hour.
