Astrattismo e Astrattismi?

30 June @ 0:00

Conference held by two speakers who, with the help of audio-visual means, discuss the topic of Abstract art.

The conference on June 30, 2025, is titled Abstractism Abstractisms? Linguistic reflection and neuroaesthetics on abstractism in contemporary art.

This is the first of a series of three conferences that will be held throughout the same year, centered around the issue of languages in art.

On this occasion, the speaker, Prof. Michele Tison, will address two topics. The first will consist of the presentation of the new painting course which, also in Longarone, will be activated in the second semester of this year.

The course will be dedicated to teaching techniques, presenting themes, subjects, and genres of abstract painting.

The second topic consists of offering future students, as well as art enthusiasts and art history scholars, contributions and insights for the awareness and understanding of the language adopted by Abstract Artists exposed by Dr. Renzo Barbazza.

Professor Michele Tison’s lecture will be preceded by a brief framework of the works of Abstract Artists conducted in the neuro-sensory-perceptual-aesthetic projection.

To this end, an excerpt from the Atlas of the History of the Works of Artists will be used.

At the end of the conference, there will be ample space for questions from the audience and contributions made through their interventions.

Admission to the conference is free and open to all.
