Agosto con Centro Astronomico di Arson
Entrance 5 €, free for members and children up to 11 years old. Astronomers’ evening
At the end of the month, the usual free admission evening will take place, dedicated to everyone who wants to get familiar with using the Center’s tools, or even bring their own telescope and have it explained how to use it.
In case of bad weather, visitors can still ask for guidance indoors on how to operate their instruments.
If the weather is nice, we will also be able to show a magnificent quarter moon, both directly through the telescope and via a planetary camera, in high resolution and on a giant screen.
It will be a very special evening because the Sun will be rising right in the middle of the Alpine Valley, making it interesting to see how the great tectonic rift presents itself. The Caucasus mountain range, the craters Rheticus, Hipparchus, Albategnius, Werner, Aliacensis, Stoeffler, Heraclitus, Licetus, and the Rimae Ariadaeus and Higynus will be clearly visible.
