The now traditional evening dedicated to the Perseids, the famous Tears of Saint Lawrence, on the night of the peak, which has now become a great astronomical festival. Despite the presence of the Moon, it will still be possible to see several dozen shooting stars.

The Moon itself, moreover, will guarantee part of the show, revealing to the telescope regions not often visible, such as the Hercules crater, the eastern shores of the Sea of Serenity, with the Posidonius crater and the Lake of Dreams, of the Sea of Nectaris, with Fracastorius and the Pyrenees Mountains, as well as the Manzinus, Mutus, Hommel, and Pitiscus craters.
