Alpine Refuge owned by Veneto Agricoltura, under concession from a regional tender. The facility has a large parking area, access ramp for disabled persons, a multipurpose room for conferences, meetings, and educational workshops, 2 dining rooms, and 5 bedrooms with separate bathrooms for exclusive use of the room.The Cansiglio is easily accessible. For those coming from Venice, the A27 motorway provides a comfortable journey to Vittorio V.to (south exit), a town located at the foot of the plateau. From here, continuing on provincial road 422 of Cansiglio and Alpago and passing through the village of Fregona, one reaches the Crosetta Pass, the southern access to the forest, which can also be reached from Sacile (Pordenone) via the road that climbs from Caneva and Sarone. Alternatively, from the A27 motorway exit for Alpago, take the Alemagna and after passing the Fadalto saddle, follow the panoramic route of Lake Santa Croce until reaching Farra d’Alpago and from there, after a few kilometers, from Spert, one arrives in the heart of the forest.
