In some weeks you can find the lake with a quite low water level, and this is the period when the lake is transformed and takes the form of a Norwegian fjord; during the rainy season, the landscape changes completely, giving the idea of a wild and inaccessible place.
The Corlo Lake is an artificial lake created by the damming of the river Cismon and by the presence of the dam.
Thanks to the mountains that contain it, the lake lends itself to many sports and even simple relaxing and fun activities within the reach of all, young and old. Surely the most popular activity is the rental of pedal boats, that give the possibility, during the summer, to visit the beautiful caves along the lake.
You can also swim, as the water temperature reaches 25 degrees, especially close to the shore, where the depth is limited.
