{"id":131307,"date":"2026-10-01T12:16:23","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T10:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dolomitiprealpi.it\/event\/gardens-in-the-square\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T12:16:23","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T10:16:23","slug":"gardens-in-the-square","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.dolomitiprealpi.it\/en\/event\/gardens-in-the-square\/","title":{"rendered":"Gardens in the square"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The villages of Pieve Castionese are dressed for celebration to host the exhibition of local products. <\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day you can purchase <b>&nbsp;zero kilometer agricultural products<\/b>, taste the&nbsp;<b>typical dishes&nbsp;<\/b>prepared by the local communities, and have fun with the many activities for adults and children. <\/p>\n<p>You can choose to take the&nbsp;<b>walking route&nbsp;<\/b>or use the&nbsp;<b>free shuttles&nbsp;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The 11th edition of Orti in Piazza is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026 in the districts of Pieve Castionese. <\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, the districts and villages of Castionese will transform into a market exhibition of local products and will welcome artists, artisans, and hobbyists, in addition to offering traditional dishes, cicchetti, and more. <\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, a free shuttle service will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in collaboration with Dolomiti Bus, to connect the various locations. <\/p>\n<p>There will be three lines available: the BLUE line from Castion to Sagrogna, the RED line from Faverga to Sossi, and the GREEN line that serves all the other districts with continuous service. <\/p>\n<p>Among the activities of the day, we highlight:&nbsp; \uf0b7 <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Visome<\/b>: exhibition of vintage agricultural equipment, artisan market, horse and carriage rides, participation of the Visome kindergarten families committee. From 3:30 p.m., reunion of the music group Ragazzi Della Notte;<\/li>\n<li><b>San Cipriano<\/b>: games for children, face painting, exhibition of special vehicles. Bubbles and magic with the Gemelli Diversi from&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 11:00 a.m. Prize fishing. At 5:00 p.m., animated reading by Matteo Masini. From 4:30 p.m., music with Mely &amp; the Moodies;<br \/>\uf0b7 <\/li>\n<li><b>Caleipo<\/b>: from 10:00 a.m. arena opening, Ol\u00e8! Market with agricultural and artisanal products. At 11:00 a.m., waiting for lunch: what a surprise. At 3:30 p.m., show by the Compagnia del Trivelin. From 5:00 p.m. DJ set with the Limpidi and to end the day, concert by Absolute 5;<br \/>\uf0b7 <\/li>\n<li><b>Sagrogna<\/b>: demonstrations of chocolate production, activities for children such as \u201cPlay with Lego\u201d. At 3:00 p.m., theatrical demonstration of life in the \u201cRocolo\u201d. Exhibition and parade (at 4:30 p.m.) of harvesters from the 1950s and 1970s. Throughout the afternoon, live music with \u201cFuori Croma Group\u201d;<br \/>\uf0b7 <\/li>\n<li><b>Madeago<\/b>: the unmissable \u201charvest the garden\u201d. Live music with \u201cBlack Dream\u201d and a magic show with Mago Bronze at 2:30 p.m. Face painting with the parents committee of the Castion primary school; workshops, activities, games, and surprises with the parents committee of the Badilet primary school; \uf0b7 <\/li>\n<li><b>Faverga<\/b>: exhibition of \u201cthe stands of Faverga\u201d and farm animals. Guess the weight of the \u201ctaia\u201d. At 11:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., readings and watercolors with children;<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><b>Sossai<\/b>: music all day, games and activities for children around the fountain, the traditional faldin race at 4:00 p.m.;<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><b>Cirvoi<\/b>: at 11:00 a.m. cheese-making demonstration, at 2:00 p.m. magic show with Mago Gigi, musical entertainment with Sound Color Acoustic, and workshops for children, tastings, and the history of clinto in collaboration with Clinto de Marca.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The day will have two previews on Saturday, September 19: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in <b>Sagrogna<\/b>, at 2:00 p.m. the burraco tournament will begin, followed by an apericena at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m.;<br \/>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>in <b>Sossai<\/b>, where at 4:00 p.m. the \u201capple pie\u201d contest is scheduled, and from 7:00 p.m. dinner will be available while waiting for the concert by \u201cKassapanka\u201d at 9:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The villages of Pieve Castionese are dressed for celebration to host the exhibition of local products.
