The canvas will gradually emerge from the listening and dialogue between the musicians and the artist in a creative process that wants to evoke the force of nature, the destruction, the silence that followed, and, ultimately, the ability of a community to rise again and rebuild.

The completed artwork will be donated to the City of Feltre, becoming a permanent artistic testament of the memory of Vaia and the bond between the territory and its community.

Guiding the evening will be Tommaso Calabro, an art expert and gallerist from Feltre, who will introduce the public to the event, present the artists, and accompany the performance, offering interpretive keys to understand the relationship between art, memory, and territory.

“The Echo of Silence” aims not only to be a commemorative moment but also to be a new artistic and cultural experience capable of transforming a painful memory into a shared creative act. The goal is to involve a broad and diverse audience, without age limits, bringing the community closer to contemporary art and creating a moment of strong collective participation within one of the emblematic places of Feltrino culture.

Through music and painting, the event intends to give shape to what words often fail to express: the echo of what has happened and the silence from which a new memory can arise.

The evening closes the 2026 edition of the News & Talk 2.0 series and the Youth Plan “Collective Circuitations” of which it is a part. The general aim of the three-year “Collective Circuitations” Plan is to create new opportunities for promoting psychological and physical well-being, meeting, and relationships for young people in the Social Territorial Area VEN_02 – Feltre, starting from existing socio-cultural spaces through significant and inclusive proposals.

THE PROTAGONISTS

A multifaceted personality from Treviso, Paolo Loschi has stood out since the early days of his artistic career for his passionate creativity that defies convention. After attending a music high school in his youth, he changed course to fully dedicate himself to visual arts. The musical sensitivity he acquired, however, has had a strong impact on the lyrical and gestural tendencies of his painting language, so much so that he describes himself as “a painter with a good ear.” His artistic research explores the relationship between matter, color, and expression, giving rise to works with a strong emotional and visual impact. His incisive and analytical style, sarcastic and introspective, is capable of exploring and revealing the intimacy of his subjects and pushing expressive figuration to extremes. A versatile and generous artist, without predefined schemes and references, without looks directed towards a forced expressivity, he has focused his research on a modern abstractism, lyrical and reserved, reflecting on the relationship between gesture and matter, between color and form, achieving remarkable results, admirable for their coherence and emotional impact.

David Boato is a trumpeter with great musical sensitivity, active in jazz and contemporary music, capable of combining technique, improvisation, and sound exploration.

Mattia Magatelli is a versatile and creative bassist, whose experience spans jazz, singer-songwriter music, and experimentation, with a keen approach to musical dialogue and interaction.

Ricky Quagliato is a drummer with solid experience and a dynamic language, characterized by energy, rhythmic precision, and a particular focus on improvisation and collective sound construction.

Tommaso Calabro is a young gallerist born in Feltre in 1990, known for founding independent art spaces in Milan, Venice, and his hometown. He graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan and studied art history in London, attending the Courtauld Institute of Art and King’s College. By 2016, he was already director of an important London gallery like Nahmad; after less than three years, he decided to return to Italy and opened a space of over 300 square meters in Piazza San Sepolcro in Milan, on the noble floor of Palazzo Marietti and, subsequently, in Venice, in Campo San Polo, at Palazzo Donà Brusa.

An intellectual, curious, radically free, he chose to build an independent path, almost romantic, based on research, curatorial gesture, and love for those eccentric and cultured figures of the twentieth century that the art system has too often forgotten, while also giving voice to young contemporary artists. The galleries he has been involved with are not just exhibition spaces, but stages for new historical readings, where the archive meets intuition and time is not a line, but a moving ocean.

Performance art

Free entry with mandatory reservation at the address info.feltre@aqualab.it or at the number + 39 327 256 2682. “The Echo of Silence” closes the 2026 edition of the “News &

[259

post-130955","tribe_events","type-tribe_events","status-publish","hentry","tag-eventi-feratel

<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.7 -
