Among old mills and houses that bear witness to a not too distant past, following the traces of the Sanguanel<\/i><\/p>\n

Medium-length itinerary, it develops between the Sorriva plain and the lower course of the Ausor river.<\/p>\n

From the square, take the recently restored silvo-pastoral road that descends towards the locality Vaina<\/i> above the small lake Rodela<\/i>, an interesting biotope of wetland environment.<\/p>\n

Two paths allow easy access to it: one of these paths, with lateral dry-stone walls, is one of the connections of the ancient road to Primiero, perhaps of Roman origin, which until 1880 connected the Fonzaso plain to the border with the Austro-Hungarian Empire. From the nearby crossroads, you ascend to the village of Sent\u00e0<\/i>, spread among regularly mown meadows with a beautiful ancient building now transformed into a workshop (murals).<\/p>\n

Then, you descend along a dirt road until it narrows to a path near the riverbed. A little further on, the ruins of the mill and sawmill of the Moreta<\/i> family can be seen, in the locality of Scaleta<\/i>, at the end of the beautiful gorge section of the Ausor.<\/p>\n

Taking note of crosses carved in stone connected to ancient legends about Saint George, the path continues past another dirt road coming from Sorriva, winding through outcrops of conglomerate until reaching the ancient settlement of Molin<\/i>, where the ruins of mills and houses bear witness to a not-too-distant past interrupted by progress and the flood of 1966.<\/p>\n

A little further, back on a forest road, you reach the locality of Le Val<\/i>, then take the mule track characterized by the peche<\/i> (prints) del Sanguanel<\/i>, which leads to Servo.<\/p>\n

From the square, you ascend to the parish church passing by beautiful examples of rustic buildings with characteristic piol<\/i> (balconies) in wood, then continue towards the Church of San Rocco and descend along a path until intersecting the paved road to Zorzoi. Beyond this, you continue to skirt the Sorriva plain until the Casere Lina<\/i> and the washhouse, then ascend back to the starting point.<\/p>\n

The variant, which reduces the two itineraries to comfortable walks of 2-3 hours, ascends from Molin<\/i> along the forest road, passing by some springs (one of these was once attributed with healing properties), to the plain near the Church of San Giorgio and then back to the center of Sorriva.<\/p>\n
