The Middle Ages through paintings, photographs, artifacts, much history and a lot of Palio<\/b>, all under the aegis of the Cultural Olympics Milano Cortina 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Visitors will be able to admire \u201cthe dualism between dream and reality that has characterized the Palio of Feltre 2025 and offers a double perspective: on one hand, the Middle Ages imagined by artists, writers, and musicians between the 19th and 20th centuries as a source of myths and suggestions; on the other hand, the Middle Ages<\/b> of festivities and popular reenactments, which transform history into collective ritual and shared identity, and makes real, with its social implications, a dreamed Middle Ages.\u201d<\/p>\n
Among the exhibited works, the painting by Lorenzo Delleani III<\/b> in front of the destruction of Vicenza and the scenic sketches by Mario Pompei<\/b> for the saga of Parisina stand out, coming from the Vittoriale, but there will also be figures of Beato Bernardino, Panfilo Castaldi, and Vittorino da Feltre<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Of particular note was the restoration, supported by the Palio Citt\u00e0 di Feltre Association, of some civic goods that will be displayed in the exhibition.<\/p>\n
Ample space is dedicated to the Palio of Feltre recounted through documents, costumes, heraldry, and banners, as well as the banners themselves, autonomous works of art.<\/p>\n
Historical posters from the Collezione Salce<\/b> illustrate how reenactments were bent towards ideologies or tourism.<\/p>\n
