The event is part of the photographic exhibition Ruggero Monego: a life lived courageously.<\/i><\/p>\n
The exhibition focuses on the final period of World War II and particularly on the day of Liberation in Santa Giustina. <\/p>\n
The exhibited photographs, taken on May 2, 1945, document the welcome extended by the local people to the Allied liberating troops. <\/p>\n
These images were preserved by Ruggero Monego, who made them available for reproduction about twenty years ago, along with his personal memories of that day. <\/p>\n
The exhibition aims to relive that day to understand the joy of liberation and promote a culture of peace. <\/p>\n
The exhibition remains open to the public until September 28, 2025, and entrance is free.<\/p>\n
A guided tour of the Museum of Alpines is available, scheduled for 4:30 PM. <\/p>\n
