– Saturday, April 26<\/b> “Are We Going to Paradise?”<\/p>\n
When, in the late 1800s, many desperate individuals left Casso in search of fortune in Brazil, the two Barzan brothers chose to move to Arsi\u00e8 to settle on a terrace at the foot of Mount Dolada. Upon arrival, one of them looked around and exclaimed: “this is a Paradise!”.
<\/b>We will also depart from the characteristic village of Arsi\u00e8 and, after visiting it with Diego Rizzo, the soul and engine of this place, we will hike up to the Paradises<\/b>, where we can enjoy a stunning view and some rustic houses will tell us about times gone by.
We will be welcomed by Guido Barzan, the great-grandson of the legendary brothers, along with his family, who will recount unique stories.
Up there, we will enjoy a varied and hearty snack, with fresh locally baked bread from an ancient wood-fired oven.
From this sunny plateau, we will enjoy an extensive panorama and feel ourselves in… Paradise!.<\/p>\n
Duration about 3 and a half hours. Route on dirt and paved roads of 4 km with a difference in elevation of 350 m.

– Sunday, May 4<\/b> in the Castionese discovering an ancient convent among majestic centuries-old trees.<\/p>\n
Starting from Modolo, where the majestic Villa Miari dominates, we will reach Pr\u00e0 Caval<\/b>.
Here, we can admire a valuable and mysterious (shelter\/convent?) isolated building, of which many are unaware, also due to the lack of written documentation, but which was located along a path frequented by pilgrims and travelers.<\/p>\n
Nearby, we will be able to admire an imposing white poplar and a suggestive row of ancient oaks, both included in the ministerial register of monumental trees.<\/p>\n
Continuing along country lanes, we will approach a deep ravine on the Meassa river, near which we will observe, in the garden of a residence, a towering sequoia that resembles the monumental one in Vajont.<\/p>\n
Duration about 3 hours. Route with a modest elevation gain.
