In the hamlet of Pialder, in Trichiana, there is located the little church of Santa Croce, thanks to the renovation of an ancient holy building.
In the lateral chapel built in a cross vault system there is a very rare fresco paint which a recent renovation gave him its ancient splendour back: the ornamental set was performed around the fifth decade of the XVI century by the artist Paris Bordon.
