It takes its name from the beautiful mountains that mark our territory, an area rich of pastures and where the pasture is still widespread.
The milk used for its preparation comes from the race Bruna Alpina. It’s a soft and semi matured cheese with a strong and pleasant flavor. Its taste is very reminiscent to those cheeses produced in “kasel” (dairy manufacturing) in the area of Belluno .
Serving suggestions:
it can be consumed as semi-matured cheese accompanied by some slice of toasted polenta and with a good glass of red wine. Really delighting also paired with steamed vegetables.

It is part of the Cheese Route of the “Dolomiti Bellunesi”.
