DESCRIPTION:Entry cost for the Civic Museums: 2 euros \nCost of workshops/activities: 5 euros \nThis is a multidisciplinary project realized by the fourth year students of the Humanities and Communication Arts high school of the Vittorino da Feltre Canossian Institute. It explores the concept of ideal city and utopia through art\, philosophy\, sociology\, and civic education. The students collaborated with the Municipality of Feltre and the FAI to enhance the Castle\, nominated as a “place of the heart\,” inviting to promote this identity symbol through a school assembly and a guided tour curated by the FAI group leader Isabella Pilo. \nFrom the creativity of the students\, about forty panels have emerged that\, using various artistic techniques\, imagined the regeneration of corners of the city of Feltre. The initiative transforms into an exhibition offered to the community that has supported the nomination of the Castle. \nAdopting this cause aims to raise awareness among students regarding the territory they live in\, making them active protagonist citizens in a sort of urban regeneration of their city. Schools that wish to visit the exhibition can contact the Museums Office to agree on openings at other times.  \nAn exhibition by the fourth class of the Human Sciences and Communication Arts High School of the Canossian Institute Vittorino da Feltre at the Castle Towers \nThe exhibition is open on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM\, with the addition of Easter Monday\, the last day available for visits.

DESCRIPTION:Holy Saturday\, Easter Sunday\, and Easter Monday\, young and old from the City of Belluno are invited to the Pontét of Borgo Piave to play rolo as per tradition. \nHoly Saturday April 19\, Easter Sunday April 20\, and Easter Monday April 21\, starting at 3:00 PM\, big and small from the City of Belluno are invited to our “broken bridge of Borgo Piave” to play rolo as per tradition. \nIt was\, in fact\, a custom of Borgo Piave to play rolo on the paved part of the Ponte Vecchio where once\, as Gianni Secco\, already a protagonist of our Dolomitic Masks Museum at palazzo Secco\, recalled\, they would make the field using the sand from the Piave and would challenge each other with eggs rolled on the lavador (board for washing clothes). \nTo participate in the game\, it is necessary to arrive provided with 1-2 painted hardboiled eggs\, to distinguish them from those of other participants\, and coins to use in the game (20 cents). \nThis year\, our association wanted to dedicate the event to Luciano Clapis\, a resident of Borgo Pra\, who for years carried on the tradition in Piazza dei Martiri and has recently passed away. \nTo support the association’s activities\, a voluntary contribution of 3 euros per person is recommended\, and it is appreciated to confirm participation by writing to segreteria@borgopiaveetc.it.

SUMMARY:Festa de San Dordi '25
DESCRIPTION:The patron saint is Saint George\, a soldier from Cappadocia who was martyred under Diocletian in 303. He is celebrated on April 23.The Vow\, which gave rise to the festival and has historical significance for the town\, dates back to the Plague of 1631. In that year\, the epidemic described by Manzoni had reached Sorriva\, claiming many victims\, so much so that the town was quarantined and surrounded by guards. The dead\, exhumed\, were buried in designated graves (in the Pian dei mort area)\, as recalled by the parish priest Don Francesco Todeschi. The doctor Zaccaria del Pozzo took action to have everything that could spread the contagion burned. \nThus\, the population\, through the two family heads Tomio and Baldassarre De Cia\, turned to Saint George\, promising to sanctify the commanded holidays\, fast on the vigils\, and lead a truly Christian life forever. However\, such promises proved to be too burdensome from the outset\, and it was decided to commutate the vow by perpetually sanctifying the feast of Saint George (on April 23) and offering the church a painted leather altar frontal. Additionally\, a procession and the distribution of bean soup to the town’s poor were added. \nEven today\, this particular tradition is respected: the Mass of the Vow is celebrated on April 23\, while the beans are collected from house to house\, then prepared and cooked\, to make the soup that is distributed the Sunday following the feast of the saint. On that day\, a procession takes place with the cappati (figures dressed as members of the dissolved Archconfraternity of the Most Holy Sacrament) who carry crosses\, torches\, and the banner. \nA Mass of suffrage is then celebrated with the blessing of the soup\, prepared each year by three different families\, which is then distributed by the conscripts (twenty-year-olds of the year) to all those present in the town. Alongside all this\, an animated festival takes place\, characterized by a distinctly gastronomic and folkloric flavor. \n \nFood and wine stand and the unmissable San Dordi procession with the blessing of the “San Dordi soup”
