DESCRIPTION:The winds of war are blowing and sweeping away indifference. The Auser and the SOMS of Lentiai could not remain silent and be deaf to the tragedies of the peoples who are enduring war.   It is a concert for peace that will resonate in the parish church of S. Maria Assunta in Lentiai (BL) on SUNDAY\, JANUARY 4\, 2026\, at 5:00 PM\, which will welcome men and women of good will with free admission\, allowing everyone to make a voluntary donation.    \nWar is the daughter of hate; peace has weapons or rather arguments that war does not understand. War is the daughter of hate; peace\, on the other hand\, is the daughter of love.   Art and culture also convey the values of the sanctity of life\, the right to freedom\, and respect for the beauty that surrounds us. Against the barbarity of violence\, the music of Beethoven\, Brahms\, Elgar\, Mozart\, Piazzolla\, played by Matteo Andri – on piano – and Gaia Sbeghen – on violin – will once again use the true universal language that unites those who inhabit this land.    \nMatteo Andri: obtained a master’s degree in composition and graduated in piano with top marks\, honors\, and mention. He has ranked in several performances and has played in numerous concert seasons as a soloist and chamber musician.    \nGaia Sbeghen: has prestigious achievements in the artistic field both in Italy and in the United States. It is said that she was practically born with the violin\, having started to play it at the age of 5.    \nTwo lives\, two experiences that will make us “fly high.”    \nWar is the daughter of hate\, while peace is the daughter of love.

DESCRIPTION:The Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna and the Library of Trichiana\, in collaboration with the Arcoiris Aps association and under the patronage of the Free University of Autobiography\, promote a free program dedicated to young people aged between 18 and 24.  \n The initiative aims to offer participants a protected and stimulating space to discover or rediscover their talents and personal resources.  \nIn an era of great changes\, reflecting on one’s experiences becomes a fundamental tool to place oneself consciously and satisfactorily within one’s own context of belonging.  A journey of discovery and reflection The workshop is structured through moments of writing\, reading\, and listening. The autobiographical practice will be proposed not as a literary exercise\, but as an opportunity to reflect on one’s way of being and the direction one intends to give to one’s life.  \n No specific writing skills or particular talents are required to participate: the only requirement is the desire to get involved and the wish to explore one’s own story through the use of a pen.  \nThe program is designed for a small group\, from a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 14 participants\, to ensure that everyone has an adequate space for expression.  \n Facilitation and details of the program  \nThe meetings will be led by Rebecca Brisotto\, an educator and trainer experienced in conducting autobiographical writing workshops and biographical collection.  \n Activities will take place on Saturday mornings\, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM\, at the Library of Trichiana.  \nThe calendar includes four appointments:  January 24 and 31\, 2026  February 7 and 14\, 2026  \n Information and registrations  \nParticipation in the workshop is completely free.  \nTo ensure group organization\, registrations must be received by January 14\, 2026. A journey through the present\, past\, and future of winter sports \nThe International Exhibition of Skiing and Winter Sports – “Trails of Glory”\, represents the evolution of the exhibition “Trails of Glory”\, and offers a journey through the past\, present\, and future of winter sports\, relating the Venetian mountains\, sports practice\, technological innovation\, and territorial development. \nThe initiative enhances the historical heritage of skiing alongside the most recent technological and productive advancements. The exhibition path is a true journey: from the historical charm of skis and equipment from the twentieth century to present technological innovations\, passing through environmental sustainability and high-level scientific research applied to winter sports. The setup highlights the wood from Cansiglio\, emphasizing the connection to the territory and the commitment to the circular economy. \nThe exhibition includes\, among other things\, a university hub curated by the universities of Padua\, Bologna\, and Verona\, stands from companies in the winter sports system\, multimedia installations\, spaces dedicated to sustainability and the agri-food excellences of Veneto\, as well as the Interreg Italy–Austria 2021–2027 project on the development of Ski-Land between Belluno and Innsbruck. \nThe exhibition\, which is free to enter\, is open to the public until February 28\, at Pavilion E of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti. DESCRIPTION: Children’s readings \nThe Civic Library of Belluno\, every Friday in October\, is proposing the project “Watch Out for the Book!” with read-aloud sessions for children aged 3 to 7 years. The readings will be curated by skilled readers: Annamaria Canepa\, Sabina D’Isep\, Valentina Pellegrinon\, Paola Brolati\, and Chiara Buttignon. \nThe appointment for those interested is at the Library’s location at 5 PM\, lasting 30 minutes. \nParticipants will be able to listen to readings of books\, tales\, stories\, and nursery rhymes from various authors and genres\, and there will also be themed meetings. \nAt the Children’s Room in Palazzo Crepadona (on the 2nd floor) in Belluno.
