SUMMARY:Fiera dell'oggetto ritrovato
DESCRIPTION: Market on the theme of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration \nAmong the numerous exhibitions ranging from flea markets to antique markets in Veneto\, the Fiera dell’oggetto ritrovato held in the historic center of Feltre on the second Sunday of the month\, from April to December\, stands out for its focus on the themes of reuse\, recycling\, and restoration. \nIn the stalls between Piazza Maggiore and via Mezzaterra\, there are those who sell\, those who exchange\, those who enhance\, and those who simply want to give things a second life. \nYou’ll find items for sale of all kinds and from all eras: from antiques to modern collectibles to second-hand goods. From porcelain to vintage clothes\, from records to wooden boxes\, from tools used by our grandparents to coins… there’s something for everyone! \nThe stalls and gazebos are surrounded by frescoed buildings and the imposing medieval structure of the Castle of Alboino; the beautiful Teatro de la Sena (closed for restoration)\, an original miniature of the more famous Gran Teatro la Fenice in Venice\, the Carlo Rizzarda Modern Art Gallery\, the Civic Museum\, and the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art are all worth a visit\, conveniently located in the historic center and with very low entrance fees.

SUMMARY:Mostra 'Vajont - Ricucire con L'acqua'
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition of paintings \nThe exhibition “Vajont – Stitching Together with Water” proposes an intense dialogue between two artists from different eras\, Gino Fossali and Sara Casal\, united by the desire to reinterpret and revisit\, through art\, the memory of the Vajont tragedy. \nThe displayed works guide the visitor on an emotional and visual journey that intertwines past and present: on one side\, the dramatic expressionism of Fossali\, a direct witness of the era\, on the other\, the contemporary and reflective gaze of Casal\, who reworks the signs of memory with current sensibility. \nThe title “Stitching Together with Water” evokes the idea of an open wound\, but also of a possibility for healing and reconnection with history\, through the evocative power of images and the flow of creativity. \nA unique opportunity to reflect on the meaning of remembrance\, the strength of nature\, and the resilience of a community. \nℹ️ Info: Pro Loco di Longarone | Tel. 0437 770119

SUMMARY:Via Crucis di Franz Liszt
DESCRIPTION:Via Crucis by F. Liszt\, in the dramatized version for soloists\, choir\, piano\, and two reciting voices \nThe Via Crucis is a work that encompasses multiple styles and languages. The unique composition of its structure has no analogues in the entire musical literature of the 1800s and represents one of the most intense and evocative pages ever dedicated to the events related to the passion and death of Jesus. \nThe main ingredient of the Via Crucis is the narrator\, and the narration is represented by the piano\, which tells\, thanks to the brilliant and wonderful mastery of the author\, the various events that unfold from the condemnation to the crucifixion and death of Jesus. It is an invitation to meditate on each of the 14 stations\, where man relives the acts that have stained and continue to stain with blood the existence of his contemporaries\, renewing the pain of Christ. From here unfolds the calvary of man in a flickering\, tragic\, grotesque vision of a modern Golgotha\, where man is still searching for the meaning of a lesson never learned. \nFinally: “in the life of every man comes his time of ‘passion’\,” writes Candoni\, the author of the texts of this Via Crucis\, who adds: “The auspicious wish that comes spontaneously at the conclusion of this representation is that listening to the work helps anyone to overcome the sufferings of their ‘passion’ with the strength of spirit of one who faces the unknown\, conscious of traversing a minefield of their existence\, while knowing that beyond the barbed wire and explosions\, lies the serene expanse of the Good Easter!” \nTexts by Luigi Candoni Theatre “Ora Zero”\,dramaturgy by Francesco Santin\, musical project: Stefano Da Ros \nChoir: Schola Cantorum di Santa Giustina Choir director: Fabrizio Da RosPiano: Valter FaveroSoprano: Laura CentelegheMezzo-soprano: Claudia De PianBaritone: Giovanni Dal PontBass: Carlo Agostini \nReciting voices: Sonia Vazza\, Piero Bolzan

SUMMARY:Atos Trio
DESCRIPTION:Complete works of Mendelssohn\, Schumann\, Brahms (4th concerto) / Music by Clara Schumann\, Fanny Mendelssohn\, Johannes Brahms \nThe Atos Trio returns from Berlin for the 4th concert of the exciting complete performance of the Trios by Mendelssohn\, Schumann\, and Brahms in Belluno. Particularly anticipated by the members and the public of the Circolo\, this appointment features the Trio op. 17 by Clara Schumann\, the Trio op. 11 by Fanny Mendelssohn\, and the Trio op. 8 by Johannes Brahms. The chosen setting is perfect\, namely the beautiful Zanardelli hall of the historic Palazzo dei Rettori\, home of the Prefecture of Belluno\, which has previously hosted concerts of the Circolo. The Atos Trio\, consisting of Annette von Hehn on violin\, Stefan Heinemeyer on cello\, and Thomas Hoppe on piano\, was founded in 2003 and has collected a large number of awards in the most important international chamber music competitions over five years\, making it one of the most appreciated German ensembles in major concert seasons worldwide. In October 2007\, they received the “Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award\,” the most prestigious American prize for the piano trio category\, associated with a multi-year cycle of concerts held throughout the United States. In Europe\, the Trio won the first prize at the Schubert Competition in Graz in 2006 and the same recognition at the Melbourne International Competition in 2007. For the musicians involved\, the Trio’s musical activity takes absolute priority over all others. The Atos Trio embodies the ambition to transfer the spirit of the string quartet to the piano trio. Atos Trio has released their first album with Ars Musici\, featuring works by Beethoven\, Brahms\, and Leon Kirchner. Subsequently\, with Azica\, they recorded pieces by Beethoven\, Schubert\, and Schumann and\, for the CPO label\, a CD with trios by Heinrich von Herzogenberg. Within the “Rhapsody in School” project launched by pianist Lars Vogt\, the Atos Trio regularly visits German schools to convey a vibrant image of classical music and the artists who perform it to new generations. \nEntry by invitation only\, with a contribution of € 20. The invitation can be collected at Gomitolo d’Oro\, via 30 aprile 1\, in Belluno\, during the hours of 9:00/12:30 and 15:00/19:00\, closed on Sunday and Monday mornings. SUMMARY:Voci di donna tra i libri
DESCRIPTION:4 meetings with the authors \nAt the T. Merlin Hall of the Civic Library\, the meetings of “Voices of Women Among Books” will take place. Here are the four meetings. \nIt begins on Tuesday\, March 18 at 6:00 PM with “Like Stars Clinging to the Sky” by Martina Casanova Fuga. The fate of the protagonist and her music teacher are intertwined by a profound pain: a sexual violence that they both have suffered. Thus\, a sort of alliance\, understanding\, and mutual support is born between them. A story of violence and rebirth\, a journey that starts from pain and fear to arrive at the reconstruction of a life. In these pages\, there is a concentration of love for life\, pages written with the ink of suffering but also of gratitude. In conversation with the author: Marco D’Incà. \nTuesday\, March 25\, also at 6:00 PM\, features “The Driver of Dr. Lauer – Belluno 1943-1945” by Rita Da Pont. Everything happens in Belluno\, between September ’43 and spring ’45: twenty months that outline a historical picture colored with blood. The protagonists are two young spouses\, Maria and Giovanni\, who live with their small child Giorgio in the heavy atmosphere of Nazi occupation. There are no escape routes\, only the waiting for a peace that seems never to arrive. And then there’s Lauer\, Dr. Hubert Lauer. Who is this man really? Does he perhaps hide something? In conversation with the author: Serena Dal Borgo. \nIn the meetings of April\, we begin on Thursday\, April 3 at 6:00 PM with “I’m Just a Tree” by Francesca Mussoi. The story of Tree\, a fir whose life changes radically due to Vaia. Through his eyes\, we see destruction but also the resilience of Nature and human beings\, and his voice makes us reflect on our relationship with the environment and the importance of preserving it for future generations. Tree is the witness of the memory of a wounded land\, but still capable of holding and giving hope. In conversation with the author: Marco D’Incà. \nIt will conclude on Tuesday\, April 15 at 6:00 PM with “Energità. Choosing to Be Exceptional” by Barbara Chiarandà. There are moments when it is necessary to ask ourselves what the right direction is to take\, how to prepare for the challenges of a life that demands us to be increasingly performing and winning\, even at the expense of giving up our values. “Energità” is an invitation to remain true to oneself\, enhancing our inner resources and transforming talent into concrete action. Through reflections and practical tools\, the book illustrates a path to follow to bring about significant changes in daily life and truly make a difference\, for ourselves and for others. In conversation with the author: Marco D’Incà.

SUMMARY:Mondovisioni. I documentari di Internazionale
DESCRIPTION:THE PLOT\nOn April 1\, 2022\, a group of workers made history by achieving what everyone thought was impossible: winning an internal election to become Amazon’s first unionized location in America. The feat would be extraordinary for any union\, but the Amazon Labor Union accomplished it without any prior organizing experience\, without any institutional support\, and with a total budget of only $120\,000 raised online. The group’s style and strategies are completely unconventional: from wearing costumes to press conferences to the free distribution of marijuana to workers. Despite facing a corporate superpower\, with minimal legal protection and very few chances of success\, the ALU did not give up\, remaining true to its beliefs about collective action and the dignity and power of the working class\, achieving what has been considered the most significant victory for American workers since the 1930s. \nTHE DIRECTORS\nBrett Story is an award-winning filmmaker and writer based in Toronto. Her films have screened in theaters and at numerous festivals\, including CPH:DOX\, SXSW\, True/False\, and Sheffield Doc/Fest. She directed the award-winning films The Prison in Twelve Landscapes (2016) and The Hottest August (2019) and is the author of the book Prison Land: Mapping Carceral Power Across Neoliberal America. The Hottest August was recommended by the New York Times and was named one of the top ten documentary films of 2019 by over a dozen publications\, including Variety\, Rolling Stone\, and Vanity Fair. Brett has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the Sundance Institute and was named by Variety as one of the 10 documentarians to watch. In 2020\, she was nominated for the Cinema Eye Award for Best Director. She holds a PhD in geography and currently teaches Media Praxis at the University of Toronto. \nStephen Maing is an Emmy Award-winning director based in New York. His documentary Crime + Punishment\, which he directed\, shot\, and edited\, won a Special Jury Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival\, an Emmy Award for Outstanding Social Issue Documentary\, and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary. His previous films\, High Tech\, Low Life\, which he directed\, shot\, and edited over five years\, and The Surrender\, have screened internationally and been distributed by P.O.V. and Field of Vision\, respectively. Maing is a 2021 United States Artists Fellow\, Sundance Institute Fellow\, NBC Original Voices Fellow\, John Jay/Harry Frank Guggenheim Reporting Fellow\, and received the prestigious Courage Under Fire Award from IDA.

SUMMARY:Feltre città ideale
DESCRIPTION:Entry cost for the Civic Museums: 2 euros \nCost of workshops/activities: 5 euros \nThis is a multidisciplinary project realized by the fourth year students of the Humanities and Communication Arts high school of the Vittorino da Feltre Canossian Institute. It explores the concept of ideal city and utopia through art\, philosophy\, sociology\, and civic education. The students collaborated with the Municipality of Feltre and the FAI to enhance the Castle\, nominated as a “place of the heart\,” inviting to promote this identity symbol through a school assembly and a guided tour curated by the FAI group leader Isabella Pilo. \nFrom the creativity of the students\, about forty panels have emerged that\, using various artistic techniques\, imagined the regeneration of corners of the city of Feltre. The initiative transforms into an exhibition offered to the community that has supported the nomination of the Castle. \nAdopting this cause aims to raise awareness among students regarding the territory they live in\, making them active protagonist citizens in a sort of urban regeneration of their city. Schools that wish to visit the exhibition can contact the Museums Office to agree on openings at other times.  \nAn exhibition by the fourth class of the Human Sciences and Communication Arts High School of the Canossian Institute Vittorino da Feltre at the Castle Towers \nThe exhibition is open on Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM\, with the addition of Easter Monday\, the last day available for visits.

SUMMARY:L'arte primitiva di Bellotto
DESCRIPTION:Temporary art exhibition \nUntil May 13\, the bar Insolita Storia in Belluno transforms into a true art gallery\, hosting the works of Marco Bellotto\, an artist recognized for his distinctive and instantly recognizable visual style. Through a play of vivid colors\, graphic strokes\, and hypnotic symmetries\, Bellotto shapes a personal aesthetic\, rich in meanings and symbolic suggestions. \nHis creations\, which he himself defines as “visions\,” are rooted in a mysterious spirituality\, inspired by primitive art. They are not merely images but true interior explorations\, where the symbolic and emotional dimensions intertwine\, giving rise to works capable of evoking deep emotions and stimulating intimate reflections. \nOn Friday\, April 18\, starting at 6 PM\, a special event is scheduled: Marco Bellotto will be present at Insolita Storia\, in Via Tasso\, to meet the public and share his artistic journey. A unique opportunity to approach the vision of an author who has made art a mirror of the soul.
